WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR? AWAvDat is a small GUI to edit the avatars.dat file. I hope it will not need much documentation as I'm lazy with that ;) Please save your avatars.dat before using this program, it SHOULD work fine but it's quite new so bugs would not be too unusual. |

DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL Click the link to the left to download AWAvDat!.exe (self extractor) Start it, it will extract AWAvDat.exe and zipdll.dll - default to C:\AWAvDat\ The program requires the avatars part of an object path on a local drive as it works with file-selects to assemble the avatars definitions : The directories drive:\somewhere\avatars\ and drive:\somewhere\seqs\ must exist, if you want to define the avatars only with mouse clicks. |

GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE? On some computers a required file might be missing, it contains Microsoft's Foundation Classes In this case you get an error messagebox reporting a missing file MFC42.DLL This can be fixed by downloading MFC42.ZIP (link on the left) and extracting it's contents into your windows system directory. Now start the program AWAvDat.exe again |
